Anarock Acquires 51% Stake in DSP Design Associates to Expand Real Estate and Design Services

Mumbai: Anarock has announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in DSP Design Associates, a multidisciplinary architecture, master planning and interior design practice.

The transaction brings together Anarock Group’s real estate advisory and transaction capabilities with DSP Design Associates’ more than three decades of design experience.

According to the companies, the partnership is intended to create a more integrated, end-to-end offering covering real estate advisory, transactions, project management, architecture, master planning, interior design and design-build services across India and select overseas markets.

DSP Design Associates to Retain Founding Leadership

Following the transaction, DSP Design Associates will continue to be led by its existing founding leadership, with overarching guidance from Anarock.

The arrangement is intended to maintain continuity across the firm's brand, management, client relationships and design culture, while providing a platform for expansion into additional markets and service areas.

DSP currently operates across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, NCR and Hyderabad, supported by a team of more than 320 professionals in India.

The firm has delivered over 1,000 projects across geographies.

According to the announcement, DSP is ranked as the 42nd-largest architectural practice globally on the WA100 2026 list and the 5th-largest interior design firm on the International Giants List 2026.

Acquisition Expands Anarock's Real Estate Ecosystem

Anuj Puri, Founder & Chairman, Anarock Group, described the acquisition as a natural extension of the company's real estate ecosystem.

He said DSP's design capabilities and client base complement Anarock's Project Management & Engineering Services (PMES) and advisory businesses.

The combined capabilities are expected to enable the companies to support developers and corporate clients across a broader part of the real estate lifecycle — from site selection and transactions to design, project execution and asset development.

DSP Looks to Expand Across New Markets

Bimal Desai, Co-Founder and Principal, DSP Design Associates, said the partnership provides DSP with a platform to expand while retaining its established design philosophy and client relationships.

The company expects the partnership to support its expansion into new geographies and additional service lines.
