India and Denmark have renewed their MoU to strengthen cooperation in clean energy, supporting India’s net-zero emissions goal by 2070.
Signed by India’s Power Secretary Pankaj Agarwal and Denmark’s Ambassador Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, the agreement expands into advanced areas like power system modeling, integration of variable renewable energy, EV charging infrastructure, and cross-border electricity trading. Witnessed by Minister Manohar Lal, the pact builds on a five-year collaboration originally established in June 2020. Its proactive renewal ensures seamless continuation of joint efforts in sustainable energy development. The agreement reinforces bilateral commitment to knowledge exchange and technological advancement in green energy, helping India transition to a low-carbon economy with Denmark’s support in grid modernization and clean energy solutions.
