Promoters in Gurugram Must Publish Newspaper Notices After Project Registration Application: RERA.

In a move to enhance transparency, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Gurugram has mandated that all promoters must publish a public notice in newspapers immediately after applying for project registration. This directive aims to ensure that prospective buyers are well-informed from the very beginning of the project approval process. RERA Gurugram Chairman Arun Kumar has instructed the planning branch to enforce this requirement strictly. By issuing these notices during the registration stage itself, the process becomes more robust, allowing buyers to access essential project details early on. This step is expected to improve accountability among promoters and provide a safeguard for buyers against unregistered or dubious projects. The new requirement is part of RERA’s broader goal to strengthen buyer confidence and ensure a fair and transparent real estate environment in Gurugram.
