Lokesh succeeds Prahlad BS, who was holding the position in an additional capacity and will now continue as Chief General Manager (Technical) at Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited. Officials have been directed to assume their new roles immediately and submit their Certificate of Taking Charge (CTC). Lokesh, a seasoned BBMP official, brings over 22 years of experience, having risen through the ranks from Assistant Engineer to Chief Engineer. His previous roles include Assistant Executive Engineer for 3 years, Executive Engineer for 8 years, Superintending Engineer for 3 years, and Chief Engineer for 3 years. His extensive background in BBMP operations positions him well to lead the city’s critical road infrastructure development initiatives.
