YEIDA to Sign Fresh Leases for 13 Sports City Projects.
YEIDA is set to sign new lease deeds with third-party developers of 13 Sports City projects in Noida, following the Allahabad High Court's March 10 ruling that canceled Jaiprakash Associates Ltd's (JAL) 1,000-hectare allotment. The decision affects 13,132 buyers in Sectors 25 and 19. The court nullified all references to JAL in previous agreements, mandating fresh tripartite agreements among YEIDA, developers, and homebuyers. Over 9,900 flats and 3,230 plots are involved across developers such as Gaur Sons, Imperia, Royal Hometown, and Solitaire Infra. Developers and buyers must upload documents by June 21. The HC also ordered YEIDA to complete JAL’s 12 unfinished housing schemes within specified timelines. However, a Supreme Court interim order has paused YEIDA’s move to appoint a new construction partner without its approval. The next hearing is scheduled for July 19. A monitoring panel will ensure transparent implementation of court directives.
