Juniper Green Energy has appointed Ankush Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

With over 15 years of experience in the power sector, Malik brings a strong track record in leadership, strategic execution, and industry expertise. Previously serving as the Chief Operating Officer since April 30, 2024, he will now spearhead Juniper’s long-term growth strategy, overseeing operations, business development, project execution, and regulatory affairs. An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Lucknow, Malik has held leadership roles at Orange Renewable Power and worked with ICICI Bank and Lanco Infratech. Expressing his vision, Malik said Juniper is well-positioned to capitalize on India's accelerating energy transition and aims to create long-term value for stakeholders. Juniper Green Energy, an independent renewable energy producer, focuses on utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid projects, and has achieved an operational capacity of 1.1 GWp. His appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s leadership in the clean energy space.
