Mega piling contract, inland waterways facilities, and India’s first yacht marina boost infrastructure push.

L&T Arm Secures ₹1,000–2,500 Crore Orders Across Steel, Waterways and Marina Projects.

Larsen & Toubro Limited’s arm, L&T GeoStructure, has secured multiple infrastructure orders in India valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore, spanning steel, inland waterways and maritime tourism projects. The largest order is the company’s biggest-ever piling contract from JSW Utkal Steel Ltd for its 10 MTPA integrated steel plant at Paradeep, Odisha. The project comprises nine major packages, including piling works for the blast furnace, hot strip mill and steel melting shop, covering nearly 30 lakh running metres under a tight execution schedule. L&T GeoStructure has also secured two EPC contracts from the Inland Waterways Authority of India to develop ship repair facilities at Patna and Varanasi along National Waterway-1 on the Ganga. Additionally, an order from the Mumbai Port Authority for India’s first yacht marina at Mumbai Harbour is expected to strengthen maritime tourism and advance the country’s blue economy ambitions.
