A breakthrough in underground utility detection and smart airport infrastructure.
Genesys Unveils India’s First 3D Subsurface Mapping for Adani Airports
Genesys International has launched India’s first 3D subsurface mapping solution, marking a major breakthrough in the country’s infrastructure technology. The ₹17.38-crore project was awarded by Bureau Veritas and will be implemented across several Adani Group airports, including Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Ahmedabad. The initiative introduces India’s first 3D Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey for precise detection and mapping of underground utilities. Genesys will combine advanced 3D GPR with high-precision LiDAR systems to produce detailed 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) outputs covering entire airport environments. This innovative mapping technology is expected to greatly improve safety, planning, and modernisation efforts as India advances its infrastructure development. With prior experience in major projects in India and Saudi Arabia, Genesys is expanding its global footprint in next-generation geospatial solutions. Chairman Sajid Malik described the launch as a “transformative moment” in India’s infrastructure journey, supported by Bureau Veritas’ longstanding technical leadership.
