Adani Group in Advanced Talks to Acquire Emaar India for $1.4-1.5 Billion

Billionaire Gautam Adani's group is in advanced discussions to acquire real estate firm Emaar India for an enterprise value of $1.4-1.5 billion. Emaar India, part of Dubai-based Emaar Properties, has a large portfolio of residential and commercial spaces across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Mohali, Lucknow, Indore, and Jaipur. Emaar entered the Indian market in 2005 via a joint venture with MGF Development but demerged in 2016. Adani Realty, already active in major Indian cities, is expanding its property business with this potential acquisition. The deal is in the final stages, but both parties declined to comment.
