Haryana RERA Sends Ninaniya Estates' Director to Civil Jail Over Unpaid Refund

Prateek Rao, director of Ninaniya Estates Ltd, was sent to civil prison for one month after failing to comply with Haryana RERA's refund order of ₹26.07 lakh issued on Nov 15, 2023. Despite directives to disclose assets and bank details by Sept 3, 2024, Rao failed to comply, prompting the court to issue arrest warrants. He was detained by Kherki Dhaula police and sent to Bhondsi Jail, with a hearing scheduled for April 16, 2025. Legal action against co-director Rahul Kumar Pathak is pending.
