KEP Engineering to Invest ₹100 Crore in 5 Years to Boost Wastewater Treatment & Circular Water Solutions.
Hyderabad-based KEP Engineering has announced a ₹100 crore investment over the next five years to expand its manufacturing capacity and accelerate the delivery of sustainable wastewater treatment technologies across India. Managing Director Malu Kamble stated that the expansion will enhance engineering capabilities, strengthen the domestic vendor ecosystem, and help the company achieve ₹500 crore in annual revenue within the same period. The company is focusing on advanced resource recovery and circular water reuse systems to support industries in building long-term operational resilience. As sustainability and water security become key priorities for the Indian industry, KEP aims to lead with next-generation, scalable, and efficient Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. Founded in 2010, KEP Engineering has commissioned over 600 wastewater treatment systems, treating 80 million litres of industrial waste per day, and serves more than 35 sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, textiles, steel, food processing, energy, and solar manufacturing.
