Munify Launches Digital Platform to Boost Urban Infrastructure Financing.

A new digital marketplace connects municipalities with banks, investors and financing institutions to accelerate city development.

Munify has launched a digital municipal infrastructure financing platform designed to connect Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) with banks, financial institutions, development finance institutions, investors and grant providers. Built on a database covering more than 250 municipal corporations, the platform brings financial analytics, credit scores, project details, documentation and lender engagement into one digital ecosystem. The marketplace enables municipalities to showcase infrastructure projects and share financial information, while lenders can evaluate opportunities, access credit insights, request documents and engage directly with ULBs. The platform comes as India strengthens market-linked urban financing through initiatives such as the ₹1 lakh crore Urban Challenge Fund, which requires ULBs to raise a significant portion of project costs from the market. Selected under the AMRUT India Pitch Pilot Challenge by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Munify aims to facilitate financing for urban infrastructure projects worth over ₹20,000 crore within the next two years.
