ACME Solar’s subsidiary, ACME Greentech Twenty, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for 300 MW/1,200 MWh of assured peak power supply under the FDRE-IX tranche. The project will combine solar power generation with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet evening and night-time electricity demand. Under the agreement, ACME Solar will supply 4 MWh per MW of contracted capacity for four hours daily during non-solar hours, maintaining at least 90% monthly availability. The contracted tariff is ₹6 per unit, effective October 6, 2026. The project will also utilise the company’s existing night-time grid connectivity. The agreement supports grid stability as India expands its renewable energy capacity and addresses the challenge of supplying dependable power beyond daylight hours. Following the PPA signing, ACME Solar’s under-construction, PPA-signed portfolio has reached 4,310 MW, out of its total under-construction contracted capacity of 5,380 MW.
