Energising every rooftop — made-in-India inverters for a brighter future.
Premier Energies and Syrma SGS Technology acquire KSolare Energy for ₹170 crore to strengthen India’s rooftop solar market.
Premier Energies has partnered with Syrma SGS Technology to purchase KSolare Energy for ₹170 crore, marking its entry into India’s rapidly growing residential solar inverter sector. In the joint venture, Premier holds a 51% stake, while Syrma SGS owns 49%. KSolare, based in Pune, has an annual manufacturing capacity of 500,000 inverters and closed FY25 with ₹342 crore in revenue. The joint venture intends to establish a new brownfield facility in Pune to increase capacity to 1 million inverters per year, catering to the rising demand under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. Premier Energies’ Managing Director Chiranjeev Saluja stated the partnership aims to provide high-quality, affordable inverters for every rooftop installation. This move follows Premier’s recent ₹500.3 crore acquisition of Transcon Industries, as the company advances towards creating an integrated solar ecosystem that includes cells, modules, transformers, batteries, and inverters.
