Sunsure Energy, JAKSON Engineering Sign Solar PPA for Green Power Supply.

Sunsure Energy has signed a long-term solar power purchase agreement (PPA) with Jakson Engineering Ltd, a unit of the Jakson Group, for the supply of clean energy to its facilities in Noida and Greater Noida. Under the agreement, Sunsure Energy will supply 7.28 million units of solar power annually through a 4.7 MWp solar project. The green power will meet nearly 80% of the conventional electricity demand at JAKSON’s corporate office and up to 40% at its manufacturing facility, significantly reducing carbon emissions. Gagan Chanana, Joint Managing Director and CEO (Solar Modules and Cells Business) at Jakson Group, said the partnership reinforces the company’s sustainability goals and aligns with India’s renewable-led energy independence drive.
