Amit Rathi, co-founder of QiCAP Ai and part of the Anand Rathi Financial Services promoter family, has purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai's Worli for ₹90 crore.
The 7,687 sq ft apartment, located on the 62nd floor of Palais Royale, is valued at ₹1.17 lakh per sq ft, making it one of India’s most expensive residential deals. Rathi paid ₹5.39 crore in stamp duty for the March 22 registration. The project, developed by Pune-based Honest Shelters, was stuck in litigation for over a decade before resuming in 2021. It is now nearing completion with a part occupation certificate. Honest Shelters acquired the project for ₹700 crore in a 2019 e-auction and complied with building regulations post-Supreme Court approval.
