Hyderabad Plot Auctions See Strong Demand, Prices Touch ₹45,500 per Sq Yard
The Rajiv Swagruha Corporation witnessed strong buyer interest in its latest open-plot auction across Hyderabad’s outskirts, with prices peaking at ₹45,500 per square yard in Thorrur. A total of 85 plots were auctioned—66 in Thorrur, 11 in Kurmalguda, and eight in Bahadurpally—attracting around 150 bidders. According to managing director VP Gautam, Thorrur plots commanded the highest bids due to their proximity to the Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad and the Adibatla IT Corridor. While the upset price was fixed at ₹25,000 per sq yard, the average sale price reached ₹32,500. Kurmalguda plots also exceeded expectations, selling at an average of ₹27,500 per sq yard against an upset price of ₹20,000, aided by their closeness to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. In Bahadurpally, prices touched ₹40,500 per sq yard, underscoring rising demand in well-connected suburban locations.
