Adani Green Energy Incorporates Step-Down Subsidiary Adani Ecogen Five Ltd.

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Friday announced the incorporation of a step-down subsidiary, Adani Ecogen Five Ltd (AESL), as part of its renewable energy expansion strategy. The new entity was incorporated on January 1, 2026, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, according to a regulatory filing. AESL has been incorporated through Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Ltd (AREHIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy. AREHIL holds 100 per cent of the share capital of AESL, making it a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of the company. The newly formed entity is yet to commence business operations. The primary objective of AESL is to generate, develop, transmit, distribute, sell and supply electricity using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and other clean energy technologies. AESL has an authorised and paid-up share capital of ₹1 lakh. The incorporation of AESL aligns with Adani Green Energy’s long-term plans to scale up its renewable energy portfolio and strengthen its presence across clean power generation, transmission and supply segments in India.
