NTPC–ONGC joint venture strengthens its dispatchable clean-energy portfolio.

Ayana Renewable Power Secures 140 MW in REMC’s 1,000 MW RTC Renewable Tender.

Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Pvt Ltd, has won 140 MW of capacity in a round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy tender conducted by REMC Ltd. The tender sought developers for 1,000 MW of grid-connected renewable projects, with or without storage solutions. Ayana emerged successful in the e-reverse auction held on November 21, securing its share at a tariff of ₹4.35 per kWh. The company is part of a 50:50 joint venture between NTPC Green Energy Ltd and ONGC Green Ltd, established to scale clean-energy development across solar, wind and RTC hybrid projects. This win further strengthens the JV’s portfolio of dispatchable renewable-energy solutions—a segment gaining momentum as India pushes to integrate more renewable power into the national grid while ensuring reliability and continuous supply.
