The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced plans to construct two new flyovers and an underpass on the Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer route, with an investment exceeding Rs 2 billion. This initiative aims to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce travel time on this critical route. NHAI is in the process of finalising a detailed project report for submission to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) by the end of November 2024.
The project focuses on enhancing traffic flow, particularly at the Ajmer Road intersection, a known bottleneck during peak hours.
