The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has announced that July 31, 2026, is the final date for property owners to avail a 5% rebate on house tax payments. The concession is available for both online and offline payments and will not be extended beyond the deadline. The rebate has been introduced following approval from the municipal corporation's executive committee to encourage timely tax payments. Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar has urged citizens to clear their house tax dues within the stipulated period to benefit from the discount. He emphasised that prompt tax payments not only reduce the financial burden on taxpayers but also strengthen the civic body's revenue, enabling faster execution of development projects and improved public services across Lucknow. Property owners are advised to complete their payments before the deadline to avoid missing the rebate opportunity.
