KP Group has partnered with PP Savani University to launch the Urja Noor Scholarship Programme, aimed at building a skilled workforce for the renewable energy sector. The initiative will provide free education to underprivileged students pursuing studies in renewable energy and allied fields. In its first batch, the programme will support 92 students, including 30 students from Botswana every year, promoting global collaboration in clean energy education. KP Group said the scholarship reflects its commitment to inclusive growth and access to quality education for economically disadvantaged communities. Group Chairman and Managing Director Faruk Patel noted that the programme is designed to create a strong talent pipeline to support India’s clean energy transition. The initiative aligns with KP Group’s focus on solar, wind and hybrid power solutions, while strengthening academic-industry collaboration to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the renewable energy ecosystem.
