Tata Power Solaroof Crosses 5 Lakh Rooftop Solar Installations

5 Lakh installations achieved—Tata Power Solaroof targets 30 lakh by 2029.

Tata Power Solaroof has crossed the milestone of 5 lakh rooftop solar installations across India, reaching 5,19,673 installations as of July 31, 2026, and securing around 14% market share. The company has also facilitated more than ₹8,500 crore in solar financing through a network of over 25 financing partners. Part of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd, Tata Power Solaroof serves residential, commercial and industrial customers through more than 700 channel partners and 250 authorised service partners nationwide. The company is now targeting an ambitious 30 lakh rooftop solar installations by 2029, as demand for clean energy and electricity-cost savings continues to grow. Its offering includes high-efficiency solar modules, long-term performance warranties, financing, insurance and after-sales support. Tata Power Solaroof is also supporting the government’s rooftop solar push through its ‘Ghar Ghar Solar’ initiative, aligned with the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
