UP Forms Panel to Review Jaypee Wish Town Construction and Fund Use.

A five-member committee will verify approved plans, construction progress, and the use of homebuyer funds.

The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered a five-member committee to examine construction activities and fund utilisation at Jaypee Wish Town in Noida, following complaints from homebuyers. The panel will verify whether Suraksha Group is developing the project according to the layout and project plans approved under the insolvency resolution process and whether funds collected from buyers are being used for construction. The committee, headed by Noida Authority OSD Santosh Kumar, includes officials from the planning and finance departments of the Noida and Yamuna authorities. It will check for any construction beyond approved plans, including additional towers, floors, dwelling units or built-up areas, and assess actual project progress. The committee is expected to submit its report within a month. Suraksha Group has said it has completed 84 of the 159 stalled towers, covering 7,913 units, and handed over possession of around 5,000 flats. The developer has maintained that construction is being carried out in accordance with the NCLT-approved resolution plan.
