Canonicus Capital Appoints Rajan Gupta as Managing Director Following Deployment of 75% of ₹300 Crore Investment Corpus

Canonicus Capital has announced the elevation of Rajan Gupta to Managing Director following the deployment of 75% of the firm’s ₹300 crore investment corpus, representing approximately ₹225 crore of committed capital.

The milestone marks an important stage in Canonicus Capital’s development as an execution-led investment platform focused on disciplined capital deployment, active portfolio management and long-term value creation.

Rajan Gupta has played a central role in establishing the firm’s investment philosophy and operating framework. As Managing Director, he will oversee investment strategy, capital allocation, portfolio operations and the firm’s continued institutional development.
