HiLITE Group Begins Work on YOO Hub Trivandrum, Creating 5,000 Jobs in Kerala

HiLITE Group has commenced construction of YOO Hub Trivandrum, India’s first YOO-branded IT park, with a grand groundbreaking ceremony held at Technopark Phase III in Kerala. Developed with an investment of ₹300 crore, the project is expected to generate approximately 5,000 direct employment opportunities, strengthening the state's technology and digital economy.

The project is being developed in collaboration with YOO, the globally renowned design brand, and IWG, a leader in flexible and hybrid workspace solutions. Spread across 5.37 lakh sq. ft. on 1.88 acres, YOO Hub Trivandrum will feature premium Grade-A office spaces designed for multinational corporations, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology firms, research institutions, and emerging digital enterprises.

The development will comprise a basement, ground floor, two dedicated parking levels, and 15 premium office floors. It has also achieved LEED v4.1 BD+C Core & Shell Platinum pre-certification, highlighting its commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible construction.

Speaking at the ceremony, P. K. Kunhalikutty, Minister for Industries, IT & AI, said the project will significantly strengthen Kerala’s IT and AI ecosystem while creating high-quality employment opportunities. P. Sulaiman, Chairman of HiLITE Group, stated that the development reflects the company’s commitment to world-class infrastructure that attracts global investments and supports long-term economic growth.

Ajil Muhammed, CEO of HiLITE Group, noted that Kerala possesses exceptional talent and that the project aims to bridge the gap by providing premium Grade-A infrastructure sought by multinational companies. John Hitchcox, Chairman of YOO, highlighted that the partnership brings internationally acclaimed workplace design standards to India's growing technology sector.
