IREDA Reports ₹554 Crore Net Profit in Q2 FY27 as Loan Disbursements Surge 31%.

Renewable Energy Financing Demand Strengthens Growth, While Asset Quality Shows Improvement   NEW DELHI: State-owned Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) reported a standalone net profit of ₹554 crore for the July–September quarter of FY27, marginally higher than ₹549 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 14% year-on-year to ₹2,345 crore, compared with ₹2,057 crore. Loan disbursements rose 31% to ₹10,579 crore, reflecting sustained demand for renewable energy project financing across India. IREDA’s outstanding loan book expanded 15% to ₹97,411 crore, while its net worth grew 11% to ₹14,337 crore during the quarter. The company also reported an improvement in asset quality, with net non-performing assets declining to 1.08% from 1.97% a year earlier. Chairman and Managing Director Bijay Kumar Mohanty attributed the performance to strong business fundamentals, disciplined growth and improved risk management. Operating under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, IREDA continues to finance renewable energy projects and support India’s clean energy transition.
