Jindal Stainless Launches ‘Jindal Infinity’ Stainless Steel Rebars in Punjab
Jindal Stainless, India’s leading stainless steel manufacturer, has announced the retail launch of its stainless steel rebars brand ‘Jindal Infinity’ in Punjab, marking a strategic move to bring advanced construction materials closer to end consumers.
The product was unveiled in Amritsar through a two-day engagement event attended by contractors, architects, and structural engineers—key decision-makers in construction material selection. The initiative aims to enhance awareness, demonstrate applications, and promote the adoption of high-performance stainless steel reinforcement solutions. The rollout is supported by an initial retail and distribution network of around 20 partners across Punjab.
Commenting on the launch, Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal emphasized the need to move beyond upfront cost considerations and focus on long-term performance, safety, and lifecycle value in construction. He stated that the retail debut of ‘Jindal Infinity’ represents a strategic extension into the construction value chain and aligns with the company’s vision of promoting durable and resilient infrastructure in India.
‘Jindal Infinity’ rebars are engineered to offer superior durability and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for demanding environments such as coastal infrastructure, metro systems, bridges, and real estate developments. Compared to conventional steel rebars, stainless steel variants provide higher resistance to chloride-induced corrosion, enhanced tensile strength, and improved seismic performance due to a better tension-to-yield strength ratio.
The rebars also offer inherent fire resistance at elevated temperatures and allow for reduced concrete cover requirements, contributing to both structural safety and design efficiency. With a service life that can exceed twice that of traditional rebars, they significantly reduce maintenance costs and improve overall lifecycle value.
Rajeev Garg, Head of Sales at Jindal Stainless, highlighted that the initiative is focused on building a strong last-mile ecosystem through retail accessibility and direct engagement with industry stakeholders. The growing distributor and dealer network is expected to support scalable adoption across markets.
Manufactured using billets cast at Jindal Stainless’ Hisar plant in Haryana and processed at its Ghaziabad facility, ‘Jindal Infinity’ rebars are part of the company’s long product portfolio. These products cater to a wide range of applications, including infrastructure, railways, highways, bridges, and real estate.
While stainless steel rebars have already seen widespread adoption in global markets such as Japan and parts of Europe, Jindal Stainless aims to drive similar awareness and adoption in India through this retail-focused strategy.
Following the initial launch in Amritsar, the product will be expanded to other major markets in Punjab, including Ludhiana and Chandigarh, followed by Haryana and Andhra Pradesh over the next 6–12 months. The company ultimately aims for a pan-India rollout, supporting the transition toward more durable and future-ready construction practices.
