ACME Solar Holdings has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with state-owned NHPC Ltd to supply 250 MW of electricity from its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan.
The PPA, inked at a tariff of ₹4.56/kWh, mandates a 40% minimum CUF and meets 90% of peak power demand for 4 hours daily, leveraging a mix of solar, wind, and battery storage. The project will be connected to an Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), with connectivity already secured. The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) approved the tariff adoption under Section 63 of the Electricity Act on June 19, 2025. This deal strengthens ACME’s FDRE footprint and supports India’s clean energy transition. ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed portfolio now stands at 5,130 MW, with 2,826.2 MW operational. The company’s 6,970 MW portfolio comprises 86% offtake with central PSUs and 14% with state discoms, solidifying its leadership in renewable energy.
