Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced an increase in its total operational renewable energy capacity to 14,528.4 MW after activating a 187.5 MW solar power plant in Khavda, Gujarat.

The 187.5 MW project, developed by its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Ltd, is located in Khavda. The plant received the necessary operational clearances on May 21, 2025, and became active from May 22, 2025. This addition marks another milestone in AGEL’s ambitious renewable energy expansion and strengthens its position as one of India’s largest clean energy producers. The company continues to scale up its capacity as part of its long-term strategy to accelerate India’s energy transition. With this development, AGEL reaffirms its commitment to building a sustainable future through clean energy investments, contributing significantly to the nation’s renewable energy goals and supporting global efforts toward climate change mitigation.
