Greenfield expansion strengthens integrated solar manufacturing and rooftop market focus.
Fujiyama Commissions 2,000 MW Solar Panel Plant at Ratlam
Fujiyama Power Systems Ltd has commissioned a 2,000 MW solar panel manufacturing facility at Ratlam, marking a major milestone in its greenfield manufacturing expansion. The facility has been developed with planned capacities of 2,000 MW each for solar panels, batteries and inverters, aimed at strengthening integrated solar manufacturing capabilities. Initially, the plant will operate at an annualised capacity of around 1,000 MW under single-shift operations, with a phased ramp-up to double-shift operations to achieve full capacity utilisation by Q4 FY27. With this commissioning, Fujiyama’s total solar panel manufacturing capacity has risen to 3,568 MW. Chairman and Joint Managing Director Pawan Kumar Garg said the project will help serve the fast-growing domestic rooftop solar market through improved scale, efficiencies and value-chain control. The company noted delays in inverter and battery lines due to technology upgrades and global supply challenges.
