Ride-hailing major Uber, through its India arm Uber India Systems, has leased over 9 lakh sq ft of Grade-A office space in Hyderabad under a 10-year agreement valued at nearly ₹839 crore. The space spans floors 11 to 20 in Tower 1 of Meenakshi Eco Park, owned by Meenakshi Infrastructures, with the lease commencing on January 9, 2026. Uber will pay an initial monthly rent of about ₹5.86 crore, with 15% rental escalation every three years, and has deposited ₹35.14 crore as security. The agreement also includes an option to lease an additional 5 lakh sq ft by Q1 2028, signalling future expansion. The transaction ranks among India’s largest office leasing deals and highlights Hyderabad’s growing appeal for global capability centres, driven by competitive rentals, large office supply and strong technology talent.
