Airport-led growth fuels a new wave of urban expansion along the Yamuna Expressway.
YEIDA Launches 973 Housing Plots Near Noida International Airport to Meet Rising Demand.
Days after the inauguration of the Noida International Airport, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) announced a major residential plot scheme, offering 973 plots across sectors 15-C, 18, and 24 near the airport zone. The initiative reflects growing confidence in airport-driven development and aims to address rising housing demand from professionals, investors, and businesses. Of the total plots, 17.59% are reserved for farmers whose land was acquired for regional development, while 59% are earmarked for businessmen operating industrial units in the YEIDA area. The base land rate is ₹36,260 per square metre, with an additional 5% premiums for park-facing and corner plots. The scheme, approved by Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority, follows the airport’s March 28 inauguration by Narendra Modi. Applications open Monday, with registrations accepted until May 6 and allotment by draw on June 18.
