Aurum PropTech Acquires PropTiger in ₹86.45 Cr Equity Swap to Strengthen PropTech Ecosystem.

Aurum PropTech has announced the 100% acquisition of PropTiger Marketing Services India from REA India in an all-stock deal valued at ₹86.45 crore. The transaction, approved at Aurum’s board meeting on July 23, 2025, involves the allotment of 4,242,537 equity shares to REA India, representing a 5.54% stake in Aurum PropTech. This strategic move strengthens Aurum’s position in India’s ₹2.38 lakh crore residential real estate market by expanding its digital PropTech ecosystem. The acquisition will allow PropTiger to integrate with Aurum’s platforms, like NestAway and Sell. Do, and Aurum Analytica, enhancing capabilities in AI-driven virtual property tours, investment dashboards, and analytics. Leadership updates include Prakash Tejwani's appointment as CEO of PropTiger and the planned elevation of Sridhar Srinivasan to Chief Business Officer. The preferential allotment will be finalised post shareholder approval at the Extraordinary General Meeting on August 21, 2025.
