Macrotech, led by Abhishek Lodha, accused HoABL—run by his brother Abhinandan Lodha—of fabricating documents to misuse the 'Lodha' brand and trademark. HoABL denied the charges, claiming unknown individuals forged documents to reapply for company name changes that were initially rejected by the Registrar of Companies. HoABL stated it received approval from group entity Lodha Ventures before applying. The matter is rooted in a family dispute, with Macrotech citing a 2023 agreement barring such use. The company submitted all relevant documents to authorities and awaits further investigation.
