YEIDA Forms Committee to Complete Jaypee Projects in Noida

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has formed a four-member committee, as directed by the Allahabad High Court, to complete Jaypee Associates Limited's (JAL) stalled housing projects along the Yamuna Expressway. The panel includes UP’s principal secretary of industrial development, UP-Rera chairperson, YEIDA CEO, and a homebuyers’ representative.

Around 4,600 stranded homebuyers will receive their properties at the original prices without extra charges. An RFP will be issued within three months to select developers. Strict timelines have been set for project completion, ranging from 12 to 36 months. YEIDA will also appoint a nodal officer to oversee payments and ensure sufficient construction funds. Affected projects include Jaypee Greens Bougainvilleas, Country Homes, Greencrest Homes, and others.
